From 15,000ft you will freefall for up to 60 seconds.
From 12,000ft you will freefall for up to 45 seconds.
From 9,000ft you will freefall for up to 25 seconds.
All personsĀ 95kgs or moreĀ are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.Ā
The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengersĀ must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
There is no maximum age limit! We have taken passengers up to 94 years of age.
The ability for a child to jump is determined by their age (6 years and over), weight, size and how the harness fits.Ā The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and minimum height is 1.2m/47.2inches.Ā All passengers must fit securely into the harness.
Children 12 years and under are Ā permitted to skydive from aĀ maximum height of 9 000ft.
All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master.
Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent.
It depends on which height you choose, but from 15,000ft it takes about 15 minutes to reach altitude

We operate two Cessna Grand CaravanĀ aircraftĀ – āthe Supervan 900ā.
Our plane can hold up to 9 customers at once so it is possible to be on the same plane as your friends. This is dependent on many factors and we will do our best to keep groups together.Ā
Nothing much!Ā So long as you have foot wear that won’t fall off, and an appropriate amount of clothing depending on the season.Ā In Winter, we do recommend that multiple layers are more suitable than one large jacket.
You can expect to have an overwhelming feeling of fear, joy, satisfaction and adrenaline for your first time skydiving! In saying this, freefall truely is an indescribable sensation and has to be experienced to understand wholly. In terms of clothing, make sure you are warm, comfortable and wearing enclosed tie-up shoes, we provide you with a full jumpsuit, gloves, hat and goggles. Our highly trained tandem masters and crew will provide you with a full safety brief and guide you through the whole experience from start to finish; you can find outĀ more here!
Yes you can wear your prescription glasses whilst skydiving. We have goggles that will fit over your glasses
Yes!Ā But we do suggest bringing your contact solution just in case your lenses dry out
Skydiving is a very weather dependent adventure activity; we always recommend the best time to go skydiving is at the start of your trip. This allows the opportunity for movement and avoidance of disappointment if your original booking is unable to go ahead due to weather. In terms of the time of day, mornings are always a great time to see Queenstown from above.
Our meeting point is our Skydive Centre in the middle of town in Queenstown (35 Shotover St). From there we will take you to and from the Dropzone where you skydive. This is included in the price.
Providing we have enough space in our buses we can take spectators for free.Ā This won’t be guaranteed and only available at the time of the trip. They are welcome to drive themselves to watch though and we can provide directions. This is limited to one spectator per customer and we cannot allow spectators on the last trip of the day.
Skydiving is a very weather dependent activity so sometimes we wonāt be able to jump.Ā We will try our best to re-arrange your trip to the next time slot that suits and is available. For this reason, we advise you toĀ book your skydiveĀ on the first available time slot in your holiday and keep a back-up day free. If you cannot re-arrange to another trip, you will be refunded in full from wherever you paid originally.Ā
Unfortunately, personal cameras and Go Pro’s are prohibited from being on board the aircraft due to safety and insurance reasons. All of our equipment has to be checked properly due to the extreme nature of skydiving. However, you can take photos on the ground while getting ready and we do offer a professionalĀ skydive photographerĀ that is able to jump with you and takeĀ photos/videoĀ during your skydive.
Yes you can, but you will still need to check in at the NZONE Skydive Centre for the briefing and then we will give you directions.
Unfortunately, we do not offer life insurance, although you are covered for medical treatment while in New Zealand under the Accident Compensation Commission. However, some companies will insure you to tandem skydive and you need to check this with your travel insurance company directly.
If you are unsure if an existing medical condition or injury will affect your skydive, please consult with your doctor for advice. We are unable to advise on medical issues.Ā
In undertaking this activity you need to be aware and understand that there is an element ofĀ riskĀ involved. Parachuting and Skydiving activities are potentially dangerous and injuries and fatalities can and do occur. Not allĀ riskĀ can be foreseen, prepared for or avoided to the extent that even if the parachute equipment is operated correctly and packed and assembled correctly you may still be injured or killed.
Yes if you have a B ā License. You will need to be current (have jumped recently) and have a valid log book. You are required to register with the NZPIA (Our Local Parachute Body) prior to jumping and will need to meet prior to jumping with one of our Senior Team to be signed off and assessed.
Sports jump subject to availability.

We can only guarantee a transfer for the person skydiving.
We can transport children if they are safely able to wear a safety belt and if space is available.
New Zealand law does not permit us to carry infants or baby carriers on our buses.
